The Carolina Cricket League (CCL) is a cricket league based around the Triad and Charlotte Region of North Carolina encompassing Charlotte,Gastonia, Highpoint, Climax, Clemmons, Greensboro, Winston salem and Tanglewood.The CCL's mission is to play and promote cricket in the Triad Region amongst both adult and youth players. Most of the teams in CCL were prior and in some cases founding members of the MACC (Mid-Atlantic Cricket Conference). MACC has been in existence since 1997 and has teams based in NC, SC and VA. In 2009 the CCL teams decided to leave the MACC and form their own league. A full season of league games will be played in 2010. The season runs from Spring into August with a T20 season to follow.
